So. Seems like the girls finally noticed each other. Yesterday evening they had a little nursing marathon (chugging along for 45 minutes) and much of the time were staring at each other. "Who's that across the pillow?" "That lump over there seems to have a face!" Eloise even stretched her hand across and was playing absent-mindedly with Annamaria's face, in a semi-intentional manner. You'd think if you shared a womb with someone for so long, it wouldn't take three months to realize she existed, but who am I to know?
I remember when Simeon was a baby, there came a time when Francois exclaimed in excitement, "He's as smart as a monkey!" Well, we're not to that point quite yet, but it's definitely in our future.
