go wild

So, in addition to the deer in our yard this morning, we also saw a little red fox! She ran through the garden, across the deck and around the side of the house to just outside our bedroom window. We watched from the living room as she dug a little hole by the hedge and buried a large egg she was carrying in her mouth!

In other news, our girls slept until 6:30 am the night before last. I was up at 5 waiting for them to call (and I had a hard time going back to sleep thanks to the milk jugs attached to my body) but was amazed that they both slept till morning! They didn't repeat the feat last night, but the good news is that now we know they can do it. The real thing can't be too far off.
