I wanted to share the following request from a good friend of mine who is working with his students in Denver, Colorado to raise money for a great organization. If you want to support them, just click on the sidebar to donate!

I'm writing to you in order to make you aware of a project that the students at Holy Family High School are working on. ... The Mission Club has decided to participate in the PARADE MAGAZINE GIVING CHALLENGE.

What is this? Well, it is a contest aimed at raising the most money for the charity of our choice. Due to our involvement at the Catholic Worker Soup Kitchen, we have decided to support The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless We need you to tell your friends & family to donate to our charity. The 8 groups who have the most participation win $50,000 for their charity! The top 100 groups will win $1000 for their charity. The Mission Club won't win (technically), but The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless will!

The Deadline is 1.31.2008 (ONE WEEK AWAY) so act now!
