1) Out here on pacific time, we can celebrate the new year at 9 pm, a much more reasonable hour. The Nice Family down the street had a little get together complete with fireworks -- we brought all the kids, and Simeon had fun playing with the other kids while Annamaria and Eloise took a nap in my lap.
AND... (drum roll)
2) The girls slept until 5:55 am after their 10 o'clock feeding last night!!!!! It's amazing; they can't weigh more than 8 and 9 pounds respectively (and I'm sure they won't do it again tonight), but that's a long stretch and I'll take it and LIKE it!
