we're the dat family

Wearing his batman (datman) pajamas last night, Simeon came around with kisses for everyone. At times like these, he only wants to be called "datman", and has similar names for everone else. Grandma is "nightwing" (superhero trivia! I had never heard of this one before having a 4 yr old boy. Turns out he's a good guy and a friend of batman); Papa is "robin", much to his chagrin. When he came to kiss me and the babies, he said,

Goodnight datgirl. Goodnight datsister! Goodnight datsister!

There's a new one... haven't heard of that character before. :-P
