the old man is snoring

I guess the rain has officially begun! So far the past week or two, it's been the "spring showers" type, where it comes and goes without warning, sometimes pours while the sun is shining, or can be grey and cloudy all day with no actual rain. Anyway, we have a neighbor up the street with a front yard FULL of flowers -- they're so big and beautiful and jolly and cheerful (did I say big?) that it's easy to forget about the months of rain we've got ahead. Thanks to Kelli and Simeon and Francois for getting these from the Flower Lady last week. (p.s. this one makes good desktop wallpaper.)
