So it turns out that women can be controlling, even at a young age. Who knew? A certain girl from preschool, Sofia from Argentina, has taken a liking to Simeon and doesn't seem to want to share him with other folks. Fortunately, S is fairly happy-go-lucky and is just pleased to have a playmate. His teachers try to steer him over to play with someone different every now and then, which he's perfectly happy to do -- unfortunately, Sofia sees this as a threat and always ends up cutting in. I was glad to hear that at least his teachers have noticed that she's taken him over, and are even doing a sort of playmate matchmaking and gently setting S up with Jett or Guy or Ella for the day whenever possible. They even went so far as to tell me that "Simeon is so good and kind and gentle, that we want everyone to get a chance to play with him!" I figure that even in the worst-case scenario (he always plays with the same one person) he'll still be happy, so it's not a huge worry. Surprising, though, that he's already having girl problems at only 3 yrs old!
