a peek at those growing girls

More new words this week! Annamaria and Eloise both say "NNNNnnnnn" (sometimes with a bit of a long a sound afterwards, but not always) when they're holding a horse (or sometimes a zebra -- it's easy to get confused.) We've gotten some "Mmmmmm" sounds for "moo", too, so far only in connection with a toy cow. Both girls are also fascinated with belly buttons, both theirs and mine, and love love love them some shoes. Want to hear them cry? Show them some shoes and then take them away. Want to hear them laugh? Get out the fuzzy boots! They even go so far as to find the shoes themselves, and bring them to me to put on. Packages that the shoes come in are also a big hit.

Other than that, we're smack dab in the middle of the transition to just one daily nap, as well as the transition to Becoming a Child with a Molar. For the most part, surprisingly, neither change has been a big issue so far, other than an unusual night waking earlier this week which could have been related to either both or neither conditions. Who knows, seeing as "moo", "neigh", "uh-oh", "nose", "Mama", "Papa", and "zap!" are all insufficient to explain?

They are looking great Mary Janelle! Thanks for sharing! Are you going to come to the TPOM dinner event this Thursday? It would be fun to see you, but hopefully your driveway won't still be covered in ice! Ugh!

love that they love shoes....so does Elizabeth. I keep telling Matt that there may be some expensive shoes in his future (for me and her!) :)
