the secret to my happiness

Lilah left the northwest last week. She'd been here since mid-May, and it would be the understatement of the century to say we enjoyed having her here. Every member of the family was sad to see her go!

Early on in her visit, Aunt Yaya took Simeon for some kind of outing during the girls' afternoon nap. With no one else here, *I* had a fantastic nap, too. Later on, Lilah told Francois that she discovered the key to making me happy -- "It's so easy! Just be gone between one o'clock and two forty-five!"

It's simple but true. Here's Simeon on one their many afternoon trips, this one at what we call the "jump fountain." We're not really sure where that name came from, or what the official name is, but I've heard it referred to as Olympia's watering hole, and we've seen lots of crowds there this summer.
