Mama: Because that's what it is. They put it in the Chinese food to make it spicy.

Simeon: But WHY is it a spicy pepper?

Mama: Because it IS. It's small and red, and it's a very spicy pepper.

Mama: (a little exasperated) Why are you a boy?

Simeon: (laughing) Because I AM! Why are you a yadie?
